Thomas & Piron celebrates 50 years of history and reaffirms its ambitions in Luxembourg
Merl, Luxembourg – Last Thursday, Thomas & Piron Luxembourg celebrated the Group's 50th anniversary. Alongside Louis-Marie Piron, Founder of the Group, Olivier Beguin, Group CEO, Günther Beining, Managing Director of Thomas & Piron Luxembourg, and François-Xavier Gilen, Commercial Director Luxembourg, shared their vision for the future, reaffirming the Group's strength, its long-standing commitment to Luxembourg and its determination to pursue sustainable growth in the country.
Les Jardins du Luxembourg: a symbol of Thomas & Piron's growth in the Grand Duchy
The choice of Les Jardins du Luxembourg as the venue for this celebration was no coincidence. Much more than a real estate development, Les Jardins du Luxembourg represents a major strategic milestone in Thomas & Piron's expansion in Luxembourg. This landmark project enabled the Group to reach a new stage in its development and perfectly illustrates its ability to anticipate market needs, innovate and build with a long-term, sustainable vision.
A long-term vision supported by the Group's strength
A message of confidence, resilience and financial strength was at the heart of the evening's speeches. Louis-Marie Piron highlighted the Group's long-standing commitment to Luxembourg, while acknowledging the challenges the real estate sector has faced in recent years in a context marked by successive crises and a slowing market. Despite this challenging environment, Thomas & Piron has chosen to continue investing and building in the Grand Duchy – a strategy made possible by the Group's financial strength, built over nearly 50 years.
"We have been present in Luxembourg for forty years and we are here to stay. Despite the current market conditions, we continue to invest and build because we firmly believe in the potential of the Luxembourg market," said Louis-Marie Piron, Founder of the Thomas & Piron Group.
Günther Beining, Managing Director of Thomas & Piron Luxembourg, also underlined the Group's ability to maintain its growth and continue developing projects despite the current real estate market conditions:
"The Group is financially strong enough to continue moving forward despite the current market environment. Our ability to pre-finance our projects enables us to pursue our development strategy and maintain our ambitions in Luxembourg."
Strong ambitions for Luxembourg's future
Today, the Group employs nearly 350 people in Luxembourg and continues to expand its activities while actively marketing several major developments, including Aubépine in Merl, Botanica and Ekxo in Cloche d'Or, as well as the new Blummewee district in the Kremerich neighbourhood of Junglinster.
This anniversary celebration marked five decades of growth and commitment in Luxembourg while reaffirming the Group's determination to continue investing sustainably in the Grand Duchy and to play a leading role in its future development.
