1974
Louis-Marie Piron (18) decided to renovate his grandparents' house. He was assisted by Charles Thomas, a bricklayer.
1976
Louis-Marie Piron and Charles Thomas join forces. On 10 February, they set up a limited liability partnership (SPRL). The construction business takes shape. Purchase of an old Ford truck, a concrete mixer and some props.
1981
Bernard Piron, Louis-Marie Piron's brother, graduated as a civil engineer and joined the team to calculate estimates, monitor purchases and control worksites. This was the birth of management control for a company with sales of over 70 million francs at the time.
1985
The company goes computerised. The first site manager is hired. The company achieves sales of almost 250 million francs.
1988
Inauguration of the first exhibition centre in Erpent. The SPRL becomes a limited company. A procurement department is set up and the first warehouseman hired.
1990
TP Luxembourg is created.
1992
The company organises its logistics and creates the Arsenal and Logistics department. It encompassed the warehouse, garage, bodywork, joinery and reinforcement, as well as transport, handling and civil engineering activities. Sales top the billion franc mark.
1995
Thomas & Piron is celebrating its 20th anniversary by welcoming some 6,000 visitors to the Our site.
1996
The company receives a visit from Prince Philippe. TP RENOVATION is founded. The company has over 500 employees. The company receives the Godefroid du mérite award.
1997
The company is ISO 9001 certified. For the third time in a row, the company appears in Europe's honorary listing.
1999
The company now has more than 750 employees. Inauguration of the new showroom in Our. TP INTERNATIONAL is created.
2000
Sales doubled in 5 years. More than 350 houses and 250 flats built. The first sites outside Europe open in Casablanca, Morocco.
2001
Thomas & PIRON has been nominated for the fifth year running as one of the 5 finalists for Company of the Year.
2002
Louis-Marie Piron is nominated as one of the 10 managers of the year, with more than 400 homes built this year. Turnover exceeds €87 million.
2003
More than 500 homes built. An exceptional year, with sales of 118 million euros.
2005
Thomas & Piron was awarded the jury's special prize for "Best-performing company since the creation of the Company of the Year trophy".
2006
Thomas & Piron celebrates its 30th anniversary and inaugurates its new buildings in Our. Thomas & Piron is nominated as one of 6 finalists for Company of the Year.
2007
New head office in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Thomas & Piron passes the historic milestone of 1,000 homes (houses and flats).
